Trenton Kershner
Certified Massage Therapist #97339
Trenton is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 8 years of experience, originally from Bend, Oregon. He relocated to Southern California to deepen his study of medicine and is currently completing his acupuncture degree.
He specializes in deep tissue, sports massage, Thai bodywork, Shiatsu, and fire cupping — integrating eastern and western approaches to address pain, tension, and overall wellbeing.
When he’s not in the treatment room, you’ll find him hiking with his dog, catching live music, or enjoying a good cup of tea
Modalities
Deep Tissue Massage: targets the deepest layers of muscles and connective tissues. It uses slow, firm strokes to break down painful muscle "knots" and release chronic tension. This process improves blood flow and helps your body heal from injuries.
Sports Massage: a targeted therapy designed to boost athletic performance, prevent injuries, and speed up recovery. Utilizing movement and dynamic stretching.
Thai Massage: a dynamic, fully clothed bodywork experience. Often called "lazy man's yoga," using hands, knees, and feet to guide you through rhythmic stretching and muscle compression
Shiatsu: fully clothed while the therapist uses thumbs, palms, and elbows to press specific points on your body. It relieves stress, reduces muscle pain, and restores natural energy balance without using massage
Fire Cupping: a traditional therapy that uses warm glass cups to create suction on your skin. This suction pulls your skin and muscles upward. This process increases blood flow, eases muscle tension, and helps your body heal faster
Hot Stones: smooth, heated volcanic rocks used in massage therapy to relax muscles. Therapists place them on your body or use them like an extension of their hands. The deep heat quickly melts away tension, soothes aches, and improves blood flow
